What’s not to love about Italian food? Pizza, pasta, paninis, and pastries, Vancity Buzz and Chowmenow know just where to find all of your favourite Italian fare for $5 or less.

Italia Bakery

Italia Bakery

Freshly baked in-house, generous portions, and $5 or less, Italia Bakery serves everything from croissants to cannoli that will satisfy your sweet tooth (and your wallet).

Le Grotta del Formaggio

Made to order, choose from specialty toppings like pickled eggplant and artichoke hearts. A small meat sandwich is $5 and a vegetarian is $4.50.

Papa’s Gourmet Pizza

Though it says ‘garlic toast’, it’s more like a mini baguette. The cheeses are sourced locally and grated fresh in-house to ensure each rich and decadent bite.

Bosa Foods

Choose from six different varieties of prepared sandwiches in the deli section, including smoked turkey, black forest ham, Calabrese, genoa, and prosciutto for $3.99.  If you prefer something grilled, try the paninis for $4.99.

Fire Pizza

This family-run pizza joint on The Drive serves innovative flavours that keep crowds flocking. That and the pizza combo special: two slices and a pop for $4.50.
