Looking to watch the Canucks game but can’t afford the hefty price tag for tickets? Nothing’s better than watching the game with good friends and good food. Whether you’re rooting for the Canucks, the Lions or the Whitecaps, we’ve got you covered for cheap game day eats.  So grab your jersey, because Vancity Buzz and ChowMeNow have rounded up the best places around town for you to watch the game and get your cheer on.

This Vancouver favourite is one of the best places in the city to watch the game. While the atmosphere is awesome, you’re going to want to stay for their daily specials. 39¢ Wing Wednesdays are a must, and on Tuesdays, sliders are 3 for $4.50!

From Monday to Friday, head to various Earls locations to take part in Happy Hour from 3pm to 6pm. Grab a seat at the bar and dig in to BBQ pork buns, chicken tacos, and tuna sushi cones before the puck drops.
