Vancouver Cheap Eats: Banh Mi

Dec 19 2017, 6:15 pm

At first glance, a banh mi looks like a typical sandwich. However, anyone who has experienced the combination of fresh vegetables, spicy cilantro, and savory pork nestled in between a soft yet crispy French baguette knows that Vietnamese subs are in a league of their own. What makes them even better is that they can usually be found for $5 or less, so check out some of the places where Vancity Buzz and Chowmenow like to get their banh mi on.
