Have a big stomach but a small budget? You’ve come to the right place. From breakfast to dessert, Vancity Buzz and Chowmenow have your daily menu set out so you don’t have to go hungry or into debt. Check out our latest 24 hours of cheap eats that didn’t cost us more than $25.

Breakfast: NSCS Discovery Café

NSCS

The $4.95 breakfast specials will definitely tide you over until lunch, as the NSCS doesn’t skimp on portions. The only catch is that during the winter months they are closed from Monday to Wednesday; however, it’s fair game to get your scramble on the rest of the week.

Lunch: TonKin Vietnamese Restaurant

Tomkin

Savory beef, fresh vegetables and a soft French baguette makes the $4 banh mi at Tonkin a great place for your noon-hour nosh.

Snack: H-Mart

Hmart

There’s an assortment of ready-to-go snacks to choose from at this Korean Market, located on the second floor on Robson and Seymour. For $3.88, you’ll have plenty to choose from, like these pan-fried green bean and vegetable cakes or beef vermicelli.

Dinner: Romano’s Pizza

RomanosPizza

From the Meat Lover’s to the Grilled Potato, Romano’s on Granville will satisfy your pizza fix. Order two extra large slices and a can of pop for $4.46.

Dessert: La Casita

La Casita

These Mexican cinnamon-sugar coated donuts are a perfect way to round off your cheap eat day, just $3 at La Casita in Gastown.
