After 10 years with the Vancouver Canucks, Brock Boeser has been honoured with his very own beer.

Yellow Dog Brewing, a company that has tasting rooms in Port Moody and Penticton, took to Instagram on Wednesday to announce its collaboration with the Canucks winger. Named Brock’s Beer West Coast Pilsner, the beer is available on tap at both tasting rooms and will soon be available in select locations throughout B.C.

“Brock’s Beer West Coast Pilsner is officially here,” they wrote. “Crisp, clean, and dialled in with a confident hop finish. Built with West Coast character, made for easy repeats.”

Boeser even stopped by the Port Moody tasting room to give it a try. He’s seemingly pleased with the result.

“Brock Boeser stopped by, gave it a proper taste test, and yeah…it passed,” the caption reads.

One thing several Canucks fans pointed out was that the player on the beer can appears to be a left-hand shot, while Boeser is a righty. Yellow Dog Brewing had some fun when asked about it.

“Good thing the beer’s tasty,” they responded.

A description written on Yellow Dog Brewing’s website gives a further idea of what to expect with Brock’s Beer.

“This West Coast Pilsner is built for crisp passes and clean finishes. Brewed in collaboration with Brock Boeser, this collab brings together Yellow Dog Brewing’s hop expertise with a smooth modern edge. It’s bright, snappy and refreshingly dialed in with a subtle hop bite and a perfectly dry finish. Easygoing but confident, it’s the kind of beer that shows up ready to play.”
