Dec 19 2017, 12:27 pm

It’s hard to believe that Canada Day is almost here (see our full events guide here) and next week Vancouver will be throwing the largest party in western Canada as a crowd of over 150,000 is expected to attend. There will be live entertainment, a parade, fireworks and the unveiling of Jack Poole plaza of sorts as the Olympic Cauldron will be re-lit  and the city will be closing some roads to make it pedestrian only to allow quicker access for those wanting to see the lit cauldron).

Canada Day at Canada Place presents a stellar line-up each year featuring tremendous Canadian talent such as multi-platinum rock legends 54-40, pop opera sensations Destino Tenors, the legendary and jazz swinging Dal Richards, hit songstress Elise Estrada, hugley popluar and immensly talented “So You Think You Can Dance Canada!” stars, global fusion electronica Delhi 2 Deblin, celtic favourites Kinship, and many more.
Time: 10am – 11pm (includes parade and fireworks)
Place: Canada Place, Vancouver
