Vancouver’s taxi cabs have been deemed the best in Canada, edging out Toronto and Montreal in an annual international survey by Hotels.com.
According to the international hotel booking website, Vancouver taxi cabs excelled in the categories of cleanliness, quality of driving, friendliness and availability.
Overall, London’s black cabs were voted the best taxis followed by New York and Tokyo.
For 2013, Vancouver tied for 8th place in the world’s best cab rankings which tallied responses from 2,683 respondents in 30 countries. The other cities that also tied for the 8th spot include Bangkok, Singapore, Bogata, Las Vegas and Mumbai.
