Police looking for injured female victim in Vancouver Westside assault

Vancouver Police are seeking the public’s help in finding a victim who was injured in an assault on Friday morning and may be in need of medical attention.

The incident occurred just after 2 am when witnesses reported hearing a woman scream and saw her lying on the ground in the south lane of West 10th Avenue near Alder Street, just south of Broadway.

The witnesses saw a man repeatedly beating a woman, and then she was pulled into a vehicle that sped away.

Police were called to the scene, however, the suspect vehicle left the scene before officers were able to arrive. An extensive search for the vehicle was conducted, but police were unable to locate the vehicle or occupants.

The female victim is described as Caucasian, in her early 20s, with a slender build and long, straight, platinum blonde hair with bangs. At the time of the incident, she was wearing a neutral coloured top and a black skirt.

As for the suspect, he is described as a well-dressed Caucasian male in his 30s with a medium build. He was clean shaven with slicked back dark hair and was wearing a long, black trench coat and blue jeans, and drove a silver coloured, luxury model sedan.
