The Christmas Tree lighting ceremony is fast becoming a Christmas tradition in Vancouver.

On Thurs Dec 2 the fourth annual Amacon Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony will take place.

Once again Amacon brings a Vancouver tradition to life with a Rockefeller-style Tree Lighting Celebration. The 50 foot tree will be lit up in front of the Vancouver Art Gallery (Georgia Street side). The ceremony will feature performances by The Vancouver Children’s Choir, Christmas soloists and a very, very special guest appearances by the BC Lions along with the Felines and Bro Jake from Rock 101. Of course Santa Claus himself  will be joining in on the fun!

The tree will be on display for all to enjoy until January 4th, 2011.
