From riveting dive shows to compelling exhibits and informative presentations, the weekend will be a big celebration of scuba diving that both divers and non-divers alike will enjoy!
For the weekend of January 26 and 27, the Vancouver Aquarium has organized a panel of experts to present on trends in diving safety, including Dan Orr, former president of Divers Alert Network, member of the International Scuba Diving Hall of Fame, and author.
The Trends in Diving Safety panel will take place on Saturday, January 26 from 10:30 am till 12:30 pm in the Aquarium’s 4D Theatre. Be sure to reserve a seat at the presentation here.
On Sunday, January 27, there will be a seminar series featuring three presentations by experts who will discuss Ocean Wise’s scientific scuba diving projects in Canada’s Arctic.
Visitors will also have the opportunity to investigate all things diving from more than 25 exhibitors, including public service dive teams, not-for-profit conservation organizations, dive stores, charter operators, underwater photographers, as well as equipment manufacturers and distributors.
If you have little aspiring scuba divers, bring them along to enjoy fun and engaging activities such as diving-inspired arts, crafts, and face painting.
