Now you can get a behind-the-scenes look at Vancouver Aquarium (CONTEST)

Jun 23 2017, 9:13 am

Even if you’ve been to the Vancouver Aquarium a million times you always find a reason to come back.

But now you have a special incentive – since the Aquarium is giving visitors a chance to see it in a new light with a peek behind the curtains. To mark the first weekend of summer, guests of Vancouver Aquarium will have a chance to win up-close-and-personal animal experiences or behind-the-scenes explorations taking them on a unique journey into the Aquarium. With prize draws throughout the day, visitors can have multiple opportunities to win these special adventures and see the Aquarium like they never have before.

Yes, we’re serious.

Canada’s largest Aquarium will have prize draws taking place throughout the day on Saturday and Sunday where you’ll have a number of opportunities to win these special adventures.

And it’s super easy to enter. Simply fill in a ballot at the info desk located in the Pacific Canada Pavilion and you could be a winner. Entry into the contest is free with memberships or admission.

Since it’s officially summer, the Aquarium is extending its hours from 9:30 am until 6 pm every single day.

This means you’ll get to enjoy a wide range of programs and shows later in the day. You’ll actually be able to check out an epic 4-D screening experience of Coastal Predators or get a hands-on experience with the animals in the Wet Lab.

And since the weather is good, you can hit up the Otter Kiosk on The Wild Coast outdoor gallery and grab some ice-cream. Or order lunch at the Aquarium Café and the Ocean Wise Café and sit outside and enjoy.
