After Hours at Vancouver Aquarium is back - and this time it's tropical (CONTEST)
The snow’s still on the streets, but the Vancouver Aquarium is turning up the heat with its first After Hours event of the year.
This adult-only event will take you to the tropics, bringing you in the aquarium after it closes to enjoy a little tropical vacation.
You’ll listen to a talk on warm water sharks, learn what it feels like to be stung by venomous animals in coral reefs, and watch a film in the aquarium’s 4-D theatre. You can also get up close and personal with stingrays in the Discover Rays exhibit, and get hands-on experience with sea stars, sea urchins, and other coastal creatures.
It’s the perfect aquarium evening: no kids, lots of food, cocktails, beer, and wine.
The Vancouver Aquarium After Hours event is happening on January 19, and tickets are available online. But one lucky reader will get their pair of tickets for free.
