At Vancouver Aquarium’s After Hours: Pints, Pinnipeds and Rescue Stories, you’ll learn about these fascinating animals and their incredible rescue and rehabilitation stories through never-before-seen programs, all with a drink in hand!
Ocean Wise
On the night, get to know some of Vancouver Aquarium’s incredibly resilient animals and learn their rescue stories — while enjoying a glass (or two) from ocean-minded breweries, cideries, and wineries, including Arterra Wines, Lonetree, Moosehead Breweries Limited, Phillips Brewing & Malting Co., Spinnakers Gastro Brewpub, Tofino Brewing Co., Whistler Brewing Co., and others.
You’ll have to leave the children at home for the night — this one’s for the adults (obviously!)
Ocean Wise
Head veterinarian Dr. Martin Haulena will also be sharing stories from the field as he recounts his experiences rescuing and rehabilitation seals suffering from gunshot wounds, disentangling sea lions from marine debris, and more.
