The Olympics are not just about sports these days. Nowadays they are just as much about partying, mingling and wining and dining the right people in hopes of some sort of economic gain. That is what the various Provincial and Territory houses will showcase during the Vancouver 2010 Olympics. Here is a comprehensive list of all the Canadian Pavilions.
Alberta House
Location: Robson and Beatty (map)
Date: Feb 12 – 28
Cost: FREE
Located on the corner of world famous Robson and Beatty Streets immediately west of BC Place, Alberta House and Alberta Plaza are a central location for Canadian and international guests to meet. It features music and a Rocky Mountaineer train to Whistler and back. The daily concerts are FREE, the train ride obviously isn’t. More info here.
Atlantic Canada House
Location: Arts Club Theatre on Granville Island (map) / accessible by Streetcar

Atlantic Canada’s best will hit the world stage during the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games. Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, and Newfoundland and Labrador along with the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency are pleased to present Atlantic Canada House in Vancouver. British Columbia Canada Pavilion
Location: Vancouver Art Gallery (map)
Date: Feb 12 – 28, Mar 12 – 21 (10am-5pm)
Cost: FREE
Beautiful BC represents themselves on the fourth floor of one of the city’s architectural gems, the Vancouver Art Gallery. The pavilion for supernatural BC will be open from 10pm to 5pm daily. It features a showcase for the province of BC and a 4D theatre. More info here.
Canada’s Northern House

Date: Jan 14 onwards
Cost: FREE
Canada’s Northern House brings all the richness and diversity of Canada’s three Northern territories under one roof during the Vancouver 2010 Olympics. It features the best artists and performers from the Great White (Northern) North. More info here.
Canada Pavilion

Situated in Vancouver’s LiveCity Downtown celebration site, the Canada Pavilion will welcome visitors from all over Canada and the world during the 2010 Winter Games and offer them a truly Canadian experience through fun and interactive. More info here.
CentrePlace Manitoba

CentrePlace Manitoba is a 2,560 sq ft, pre-fabricated, sustainable building featuring Manitoba products and technology. Multimedia exhibits, developed in Manitoba, will showcase tourism. Daily concerts will showcase Manitoba artists. More info here.
Four Host First Nations Pavilion

The wide and diverse culture of Canadian Aboriginals is showcased in a grand scale at this pavilion. The schedule is packed with a non-stop lineup of events. More info here.
French Quarter (Place de la Francophonie)
Location: Granville Island (map)
Date: Feb 11 – 28 (11am-midnight)
Cost: FREE
Located in the heart of Granville Island, this little “French Quarter” will offer visitors a cornucopia of activities including shows featuring Canadian and international performers, a sports pub, a farmer’s market, tourism circuits and trails and many exhibits of works by francophone artists. Ontario Pavilion
Location: Between BC Place and Science World (map)

The Ontario Pavilion will offer visitors a unique, one-of-a-kind, inspirational experience that will live on in their memories for years to come and reinforce Ontario’s Olympic brand message. It offers an amazing 4-D experience and a mind-control-brainwave-reading thing. This pavilion is highly recommended.
Quebec House (Maison Quebec)
Location: Between Canada Hockey Place and Science World (map)

This will showcase to the thousands of foreign visitors on the spot the distinctive character of Quebe. For the Inhabitants of Quebec come and take part in the Olympic events in Vancouver, the House of Quebec will constitute the gathering point. No further info.
Royal Canadian Mint Pavilion
Location: 500 Granville St (map)
Date: Feb 12 – 28 (9am-10pm)
Cost: FREE
See the Mint’s world-famous million-dollar gold coin and other gold products and learn how coins are made. Participate in children’s activities (9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.) and collect all Vancouver 2010 circulation coins to complete your collection. More info here.
Saskatchewan Pavilion
Location: Between Canada Hockey Place and Science World (map)

Cost: FREE
The Saskatchewan pavilion will consist of two structures. One will house a business centre and the other an entertainment venue featuring Saskatchewan entertainment and food. There will also be a pavilion at Whistler during the Paralympics. Video and more info here.
