Vancouver 2010 Olympic Torch Relay Route

Dec 19 2017, 11:44 am

We are finally made aware of Vanoc’s plan for the 2010 Olympic torch relay. The torch will start its journey in British Columbia and makes its way through this fine country of ours before it finally arrives at its final destination, BC Place Stadium. The overall distance it will travel is 45,000 km, making it the largest domestic torch relay in Olympic history.

If you are interested in carrying the torch, you can apply at iCoke.ca or at three different RBC web sites, including http://www.carrythetorch.com/.

Update: The good folks over at the Daily Seagull have learned about an alternate route originally proposed by John Furlong and Vanoc. See that map here.
