Happy birthday Vancouver. You’re beautiful, young and unattainable for many. You are loved even though at times those that call you home can’t stand you. It’s because even those that despise you just want to bring out the best in you.
You aren’t perfect, no place in the world is, but there is a reason everyone wants to be here. There is a reason we don’t leave, even though living here is so damn expensive. From the mountains to the beaches and everything in between, there is no better place on earth. Happy 126th birthday.
