This Wednesday (Sept. 19) the first Good Money Mob, powered by Vancity, is happening at East of Main Cafe. It’s like a flash mob, only without the choreographed dancing. Instead, it’s a large group of everyday people getting together to mob a local establishment and show their support. East of Main Cafe is a new East Vancouver restaurant serving homemade soups and sandwiches by day and Mediterranean influenced tapas by night in a cozy, high-ceiling dining room decorated by local artists. As a bonus, all their profits benefit Project Limelight: http://www.projectlimelightsociety.org<http://www.projectlimelightsociety.org/> a free theatre program for kids in East Vancouver.
