With summer looming around, everyone is probably thinking the same thing. “Down with Pants!” I know I can’t wait to trade up my jeans for a pair of shorts. Like everything else you need to find the right kind of shorts that work well with you.

There are Bermuda shorts. They are great for casual outings but can also be worn in a business environment. They are knee-length with pockets in front and back and a belt loop.

Cargo shorts are the shorts version of cargo pants. Commonly made with Khaki in a solid colour or in camo design. The main difference between these and Bermuda shorts aside from the material used to make them are the patch pockets. The 2 extra pockets are great for carrying what your jacket pockets would have held for you (keys, wallet, cellphone, camera, etc.) during the winter.

Board shorts! The one pair of shorts I know everyone can’t wait to wear, because wearing them means it’s beach time or at least time to hang around a swimming pool. The great thing about them is the fact that they dry very quickly so you don’t get everything you sit on wet.

There are also jean shorts, short shorts, gym shorts, baggy shorts, and the list goes on and on. With summer clothes on the racks its hard not to find a pair of shorts. A few places to go for nice shorts are American Eagle, Hollister, Aeropostale and Urban Planet.
