Colourful new TransLink bus ready for massive Vancouver Vaisakhi parade

The Vancouver Vaisakhi celebrations will be extra colourful this weekend thanks to a new addition to the TransLink fleet.
TransLink has wrapped a bus with a vibrant design honouring Vaisakhi, the annual spring festival in South Asian culture.
According to the transportation authority, this year’s design is inspired by Vaisakhi’s spiritual and spring harvest traditions, along with a modern art twist.

“The design is intentionally fluid and organic, with dynamic visuals that honour tradition while feeling fresh and current,” explained TransLink. “The harvest theme is reflected through imagery of wheat, while traditional tabla drums represent the joy of celebration.
“The bus is further brought to life with a vibrant colour palette featuring blues and oranges, symbolizing service, wisdom, and courage, complemented by accents of green and yellow.”
