The Vagina Monologues

Dec 19 2017, 6:03 pm

A lot of the times, when someone hears the word Vagina, it can be pretty off-putting. What happens when you place that word together with a stage, lights and over 10 actors? You get the VAGINA MONOLOGUES!

The Vagina Monologues has been known to be one of the must-have theatrical shows that are most of the time, held and produced by university students. This time around, The Vagina Monologues will be performed by students of Simon Fraser University for two shows in Vancouver and in Burnaby.

For those of you who don’t quite understand what the Vagina Monologues are all about, they are a compilation of monologues based on interviews carried out in 1994 by Eve Ensler addressing the social stigma surrounding violence against women and women sexuality.
