Two of the biggest stars on ABC’s hit fairy tale television series Once Upon A Time have thrown their support behind Uber’s plans to expand its ride-share business to the Vancouver market.

Last week, Jennifer Morison tweeted out to her 473,000 followers asking her Vancouver fans to sign Uber’s petition if they do not want to be “stuck without a cab in the rain.”

Morrison is best known for her role as Dr. Allison Cameron in House and now stars as Emma Swan in Once Upon A Time, which is now in its fourth season.

On the same day, Lana Parrilla also asked her followers on Twitter to ask local leaders to support Uber’s service in the city. Parrilla plays the Evil Queen and has 402,000 followers.

Both Morrison and Parrilla currently live in Vancouver to film the television series.

Uber launched its petition on November 6 with an aim to garner support for the service’s launch in Vancouver. The petition is addressed to both the municipal and provincial governments in response to their opposition against the ride-share service. The City of Vancouver placed a moratorium on Uber’s operations while the B.C. government has made it known that it would use an undercover sting operation to bust illegal drivers.

To date, the petition on Uber’s website has received more than 18,300 signatures.
