A suspect aboard an United Airlines diverted flight is now in the custody of Richmond RCMP.
Flight 1104 was originally destined to fly directly from Anchorage to Denver, but it made an unscheduled stop at Vancouver International Airport early this morning. Police have only said that the diversion was made due to an unspecified “security concern” aboard the plane.
Police are investigating and the incident did not impact the airport’s operations. Limited information is available at this time.
