“Unite For Japan” is a fundraiser initiative organized by four UBC 4th year students, in efforts to raise money and awareness for the recent traumatic events that are taking place in Japan. The event was created with the purpose of bringing the local community together, to support those that need it the most right now.
“Unite For Japan” will be taking place on Saturday March 19, 2011 from 8-10pm, to be held at Post Modern, a trendy Vancouver venue located in Gastown. Throughout the night guests will be entertained by the likes of three local Djs from around the Lower Mainland. A photobooth sponsored by FaceboxMedia will also be there, for attendees to take away a small picture momento from the night.
