@DowntownVan is celebrating a milestone of 3000 followers on twitter, and they are inviting their friends, the “Social Media Illuminati” to meet face to face in an quintessentially downtown holiday gathering and everyone is invited! So bring out the ugly sweaters, c’mon we all have at least one.
Join them as they celebrate the holidays in an ugly sweater tweetup. There will be free ice skating at Robson Square and hot Christmas Brew Coffee. A 60 inch screen has been generously provided by The UBC Robson Square Bookstore to showcase live tweets! The hashtag will be #downtownsweaters

- Save a tree – Bring your own Mug.
- This is a free event but please RSVP so we can make sure there’s enough hot coffee for everyone.
- Bring your skates. Rentals will be available on a first come first served basis at $2 each.
- Ugly sweaters are a must!
