Ubuntu Canteen opens in former Bows & Arrows spot (PHOTOS)
Ubuntu Canteen has officially opened in the former location of much-loved Bows and Arrows on Fraser Street.
The new Vancouver eatery will be open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner while offering patrons service Tuesday to Sunday from 8 am to 3 pm and 5 pm to close.

Breakfast runs from 8 to 11 am with a selection of simple eats like bread, butter, and jam, along with a biscuit sandwich, granola with yogurt or milk, and a daily quiche.
For lunch, expect a selection of charcuterie, soup with sourdough, specialty toasts, seasonal veggies, and chicken from the rotisserie for lunch from 11 am to 3 pm.
When it comes to baked goods, expect croissants and custard brioches made by Chams Sbouai of Sweet Boy Cream Puffs, and Bows and Arrows coffee will be served as an ode to the previous tenant.
For dinner service, we’re told Ubuntu will become a raw bar.
