Hot on the heels of SFU and BCIT, UBC has confirmed that many of its classes today are cancelled due to the snow.
In a Tweet earlier this morning UBC said that while campus was open there would be no penalties for those who didn’t attend class due to the treacherous road conditions.
Still snowing at #UBC Vancouver and roads to campus treacherous. Don’t worry if you can’t make it to class. No penalties.

However it seems that the snow isn’t going to affect those who have class tomorrow.
“At this point, there are no plans to cancel classes or exams on Dec. 6. on Point Grey Campus,” UBC posted in an online alert. “If that changes, this advisory will be updated at 6:30 a.m. for those with exams in the 8:30 a.m. time block.”
