Two Triangles: This Vancouver biz brings their sandwich shop to your office

There are so many reasons why you might not want to leave work to buy lunch, but this new Vancouver business is helping office-dwellers by basically bringing their sandwich shop to them.

Two Triangles will definitely help improve your lunch al-desko game. “Think of us like a food truck that comes into your office,” says co-founder Jack Harrison, who launched the biz recently with his wife, Hollie.

The couple, who moved to Vancouver from the UK in 2011, had noticed that there were some great places to get sandwiches, but the long lines were a deterrent when it came time for a quick grab-and-go lunch.

While exploring the option of setting up a storefront for a sandwich shop, the Harrisons thought they would get Two Triangles (get it?) rolling faster by connecting with companies and office buildings and arranging regular visits.

When Two Triangles arrives, they’ve got their daily menu of sandwich standards, like Roast Beef, Chicken & Avocado, a Cheese Ploughman’s (cheese and chutney with lettuce and tomato), a vegan option with chickpeas, and more, along with their salads: Chef’s Cobb Salad and Beet & Goat Cheese.

I checked out their most excellent Turkey, Bacon & Brie–at my desk–and loved that this filling, well-made sammie pretty much knocked on our office door.

“We show up at the same time, same day each week and serve great sandwiches and salads to all the people who cannot escape their desk or simply don’t want to brave the elements outside,” explains Harrison.

Harrison adds that they are always singing up new office stops, and their visits come with no pressure to buy–though you can also book them for a full team catering order, and now their food is available for delivery via foodee.

Their menu is wallet-friendly, too; prices range from $6.95 to $10.50 (sandwiches are in the $8-9 zone) and are inclusive of tax.

Two Triangles is aiming to keep growing their delivery biz, with the continued long-range goal to open up a permanent shop in the next year or so. Get in touch with them if you’d like to sign your office up!
