Vancouver Tweed Ride is a jaunty bike ride for a good cause

Get your most traditional English garb and your vintage bikes ready, the Tweed Ride is returning to Vancouver.

The Tweed Ride aims to promote bike riding in urban areas and proceeds for the ride benefits Power To Be Adventure Society, which helps children with disabilities explore nature, no matter their mobility limitations.

Participants are expected to dress to impress in traditional vintage-style English clothing – and in particular, tweed.

The ride will start and end at the Vancouver Club and will essentially be a huge loop of the city. Below is a map of the route they plan on taking:

People wanting to participate can sign up in groups or individually. It could be the most fashionable bike ride you’ll take this summer.
