Liberal Party Leader Justin Trudeau is in Metro Vancouver today to attend two separate events, with one taking place this evening in Surrey.
The first event was held this morning in Burnaby at Nano One Materials, and tonight Trudeau will be attending a rally at the Aria Banquet Hall in Surrey.
According to organizers, the rally will see Trudeau deliver remarks at the event, where he will be joined by campaign and party supporters, as well as the Liberal candidate for Surrey-Centre, Randeep Sarai.
The event is scheduled to begin at 7 pm.

In Burnaby this morning, Trudeau said that if elected, the Liberals will increase Canada’s climate-action ambition by charting a path to deepen greenhouse-gas emissions cuts over the next decade and get to net zero emissions in Canada by 2050.
This plan echoes a promise made by 65 other countries that pledged at this week’s UN Climate Summit, which Canada is not officially attending because of the election.
