Trinity Street 2008 Christmas Lights in Vancouver

Dec 19 2017, 11:45 am

Each year for the past nine, the folks of Trinity Street(between 2400 and 2900) in East Vancouver (by Burrard View park about two blocks up from the docks) decorate their homes in memory and celebration of long time residents of the street Norah Davis and Martha Elliot. This is not your ordinary Christmas displays neither, there are some really elaborately decorated homes and rightfully so as this is a competition. Although it is all for a good cause, I’m sure people wouldn’t mind having bragging rights for a year.

This event has become such a huge success and each year it has been predicted to be the last. The thing is the street is overwhelmed by the vehicular traffic that residents are becoming wary of the spectacle that is Vancouver driver’s.

We encourage you park your vehicles a few blocks away and get out and walk down the street and cast your vote for the best looking home on the block, proceeds from the ballots (which have to be purchased) go to a worthy cause.
