Silver Chord Choir & Friends Concert

  • What: As a kick off to Senior’s Week, the Silver Chord Choir & Friends is hosting its annual concert. The free event is open to all ages and includes refreshments after the show.

Free Yoga in the Park

  • What: A Hatha Yoga style class designed for all levels of fitness. Bring a mat, water bottle, and towel. Classes are held weather permitting and advance registration is required.

2nd Annual Rock for Autism

  • What: Enjoy 7 hours of pro-Rock and Roll to increase awareness and raise funds for adults with autism. Funds go to help train companies that hire persons on the ASD spectrum. Presented by Autism BC and Lindsay Music.

Family Board Game Night

  • What: Free family fun at Spirit Square. Enjoy an evening of board games and light refreshments. Borrow one from the games library, or bring your favourite ones from home.

Newfoundland Kitchen Party

  • What: Experience a traditional East Coast style lobster dinner without leaving the West Coast. Traditional maritime music will be performed by the band New Fish. Beers from local breweries will be available for purchase and coolers for those that do not like beer. There will also be hot dog dinners for guests that do not want a lobster.

Coquitlam in Bloom Day

  • What: Join the City of Coquitlam’s Parks team for a drop-in, fun-filled experience that includes activities and displays for the whole family. You also won’t want to miss out on the very popular Tractor Dance.

Teen Quiz Night

Golden Spike Days Festival

  • What :The Golden Spike Days Festival is one of the oldest and longest running family events in BC. The festival is held at Rocky Point Park around Canada Day, attracting upwards of 40,000 people of all walks of life with live entertainment, special events and activities for all ages.
