TransLink will be adjusting the schedules of their transit services beginning on Monday, April 15 to reflect seasonal demand changes and maximize efficiency. These changes are made four times a year in the months of April, June, September and December.
The most notable change will see the #4 UBC/Powell route temporarily split into two shuttle services until the summer 2014 due to the Powell Street Overpass project. The two shuttle services will operate as #4 UBC/Downtown (trolley bus) and #4 Powell/Downtown (conventional bus).
Trips leaving UBC will operate as #4 Downtown and will travel as far as Waterfront Station at Cordova Street & Seymour Street in downtown Vancouver before turning back as #4 UBC. Passengers wishing to travel further east towards the Renfrew Street & Eton Street terminus will need to transfer to the #4 Powell.
Trips leaving Renfrew & Eton will operate as #4 Downtown and will travel as far as Cordova & Seymour before turning back as #4 Powell. Those wishing to travel further west will need to transfer to the #4 UBC bus.
The #620 Tsawwassen Ferry/Bridgeport Station will see service increase to two articulated buses from one every hour between 8 a.m. and 7 p.m. until September 2 (Labour Day). SeaBus service on Sundays and holidays will increase to every 15 minutes from 30 minutes beginning May 19 until September 2.
Routes 150 and C26 to White Pine Beach and Buntzen Lake from Coquitlam Central Station will be re-introduced in June until September 2. The #10 Downtown/Granville will temporarily terminate at Marpole Loop instead of Marine Drive Canada Line station due to construction.
Owing to decreased post-secondary demand during the summer, service on routes 9, 25, 28, 44, 130, 143 and 480 will be adjusted or reduced. After May 24, #125 Patterson Station/BCIT will also be discontinued until September 2.

The promised 96 King George Boulevard B-Line service between Guildford Town Centre, Surrey Central Station, and Newton Exchange will not be implemented until September. Newton Exchange is currently undergoing upgrades to accommodate the longer 60-foot articulated buses. Construction is scheduled to be completed sometime this summer.
