Track Review: Langley's The Vidos release “Shoebomb”

Dec 20 2017, 12:29 am

Langley rock band The Vidos release a new track, “Shoebomb.”

It is added to the ever-growing list of impressive offerings from the alternative trio, who released their debut EP, All The Time, in 2014.

Lead singer and bassist Brett Hornall’s voice is full of conviction over growling basslines and warp-speed drums, while the supporting harmonies of guitarist Kirk Musfelt and drummer Nolan Nielsen are pure magic. Held together by turbo-charged riffs, “Shoebomb” is slightly smoother than the scuffed-up skate punk that’s heard on the album but it’s nevertheless just as fun of a ride.
