Toronto Blue Jays World Series tickets are going for insane prices
For the first time since 1993, the Toronto Blue Jays will be playing in the World Series for a chance to win the Commissioner’s Trophy.
The Blue Jays were able to defeat the Seattle Mariners on Monday night in a series that went the distance. Trailing in the seventh inning, George Springer was able to hit a three-run home run, which put the Jays up 4-3, a lead they didn’t give up.
The Blue Jays will have home-field advantage in the upcoming best-of-seven series versus the LA Dodgers, with Game 1 set for Friday night. Game 2 will also be at Rogers Centre on Saturday.
As you can imagine, many Blue Jays fans are doing what they can to get their hands on some tickets. Those wishing to attend either of the opening two games, however, will need to pay a pretty penny to do so.
Ticketmaster prices for Game 1 of the World Series.
The only tickets available for either of the first two games in Toronto are resale. For Game 1, the cheapest tickets currently available on Ticketmaster are going for a staggering $1,764.07. There are plenty of others in the 500 level going for north of $2,000, while some in the lower bowl are listed at more than $8,000.
Ticketmaster prices for Game 2 of the World Series.
Prices for Game 2 on Saturday night are even more expensive. The cheapest available are going for $1,833.75, while a number of other seats in that price range are still up for grabs. As is the case for Game 1, there are plenty of tickets listed north of $8,000.
Tickets went on sale this morning, and several users on X commented that the lowest price to get tickets in the 500 level was nearly $500.
In the high $400 price! Still didnāt buy. It was like $490 for 500 outfield tickets. Highest I saw was $2000 for 100 level first base! Still more than Iād want to spend

While many Jays fans attempted to get into Ticketmaster as soon as tickets were made available, they were put on lengthy waitlists. For many, the standard tickets were already unavailable by the time they got through the queue.

Tickets for Game 6 and Game 7, should the series go that long, are only available through resale as well. The prices, at least at this time, are very similar to what they are for the two opening games of the series.
