On Friday evening, the Toronto Blue Jays will take the field for the World Series for the first time since 1993.
Though they are considered underdogs against the reigning champion LA Dodgers, the Blue Jays’ improbable regular season and playoff run has the entire country of Canada supporting them. There is a ridiculous amount of excitement throughout the country, which only increased further following an epic hype video dropped by the Blue Jays on Thursday night.

Entering the season, the Blue Jays were predicted by most to finish near, if not at, the bottom of the AL East. Instead, they wound up with an AL-best 94-68 record, which allowed them to skip the wild-card series.
The Jays were able to eliminate the New York Yankees in four games in the ALDS, before knocking off the Seattle Mariners in Game 7 of the ALCS, a series which they trailed 2-0 and 3-2.
As for the Dodgers, they led the NL West with a 93-69 record and were able to sweep the Cincinnati Reds in the wild-card stage. They then defeated the Philadelphia Phillies in four games in the NLDS, before sweeping the Milwaukee Brewers to punch their ticket to the World Series for the second-straight year.
Making the start in Game 1 of the World Series is Trey Yesavage, who will be making his fourth start this postseason. The 22-year-old has posted a 4.20 ERA with 22 strikeouts through 15 innings so far during this run.
The Blue Jays will also have Bo Bichette available, as he was announced as part of the 26-man roster for the World Series. He will replace Joey Loperfido, who was a late addition to the ALCS roster following a season-ending injury to Anthony Santander.
Ty France has also cracked the roster, replacing relief pitcher Yariel Rodriguez.
First pitch for Game 1 between the Blue Jays and Dodgers is scheduled for 8 p.m. EDT.
