Toronto Blue Jays faithful showed up well for Game 4 of the ALCS against the Seattle Mariners on Thursday night.
Once it was determined that the Blue Jays would be playing the Mariners for a chance to go to the World Series, it was expected that there could be a lot of Jays fans in attendance. While that didn’t seem to be the case in Game 3 on Wednesday, it certainly was the following evening.
Throughout the entire game, there were noticeable “Let’s go Blue Jays,” chants that could be heard on TV. Come the ninth inning with the Jays up 8-2, those chants got significantly louder.

The Blue Jays, thanks in large part to a great start from Max Scherzer and some timely hits from Andres Gimenez, were able to walk away with an 8-2 victory to tie this series up at two apiece.

This win means that, regardless of the outcome in Game 5, this series will return to Toronto for Game 6 as well as a potential Game 7. It’s been quite the turnaround for a Jays team that looked completely outclassed in the opening two games.
Blue Jays fans will have another opportunity on Thursday to get some chants going for their team at T-Mobile Park. With a victory, the Jays would have a chance to close out the ALCS and punch their ticket to the World Series on Sunday.
Kevin Gausman will get the ball for the Blue Jays tonight, marking his third start of the postseason. The 34-year-old gave up two runs through 5.2 innings in what wound up being a 3-1 loss in Game 1 of this series.
Going for the Mariners will be Bryce Miller, who was phenomenal against the Jays in Game 1, giving up just one run on two hits through six innings.
