Tonight for Tomorrow: Dine out May 18 to support Mealshare

Dec 20 2017, 5:50 am

In case you need incentive to skip cooking and head out for dinner on the night of Wednesday, May 18, you may want to hit up one of the dozen local restaurants participating in Tonight for Tomorrow, a special fundraiser event for Mealshare.

For every dollar spent on dinner at participating restaurants on May 18, one dollar will be donated to help grow Mealshare.

To show their support for Tonight for Tomorrow, seven major Vancouver buildings will be lit up in orange–Mealshare’s colour–for the evening, including BC Place, City Hall, and Telus World of Science.

Ready to commit to dining out that night? Mealshare wants you to pledge you’ll take part in Tonight for Tomorrow on what they’re calling “The Most Delicious Petition Ever” on their website.

Where can you head to for dinner on May 18? Here are the participating Vancouver-area restaurants: Tuc Craft Kitchen, Bauhaus, Sai Woo, Gurkha Himalayan Kitchen, Bestie, The Oakwood Canadian Bistro, Yak & Yeti Bistro, The Greek by Anatoli, The Portside Pub, Jam Jar, Fortune House Seafood Restaurant, and Anatoli Souvlaki.
