Tom Brady may have been late to the party, but he has made quite an impressive entrance to Twitter.
Joining the social media platform in March, the six-time Super Bowl champion waited until April Fool’s Day to send out his first tweet.
It was a good one:
I'm retiring. In my spare time, I'll be tweeting #LFG

As you can imagine, the 41-year-old created quite the buzz with that joke, earning over 50,000 retweets (and counting).
Was this a bad joke?

To date, Brady has tweeted just 11 times, and the topic one of two of them might cause you to raise an eyebrow.
I’ve been trying to get the Expos back on the line for the past month! https://t.co/pXohflCmhW

As well as being arguably the greatest quarterback of all-time, Brady was one heck of a baseball player as well. The California native was a star catcher in high school, so much so that he was drafted by the Montreal Expos in the 18th round of the 1995 MLB Draft.
Brady rightly decided to pursue a career in football instead, beginning his college career with the University of Michigan later that year.
