Shelter Restaurant is a Tofino landmark and favourite, open from “lunch till late”. It is uniquely built from old WW2 airport hangar timbers. Shelter Restaurant is also the place to be for surf movie premieres. Expect local photography and artwork, as well as surf movies playing in the background.
Shelter Restaurant delivers on its promise of food, wine and shelter (from the elements). It offers a sophisticated seasonal menu with a relaxed attitude. The menu focuses on organic Vancouver Island produce and local seafood sourced from Tofino.
