Another high-risk sex offender is at large after failing to return to his halfway house in Vancouver.

According to police, Timothy Daniel Jones is wanted after he failed to return to his residence on Tuesday. The 48-year-old man previously served sentences for three sexual assaults against teenage and adult women.

“He is a two-time federal offender on statutory release, after receiving a one-year-eight-month sentence for breach of his long-term supervision order,” reads a statement by Vancouver Police.

Jones is described as Caucasian, 6 feet tall, 244 lbs., with brown hair, brown eyes and a tattoo of Pegasus on his right upper arm. When he was last seen, he was wearing a blue jean jacket, green t-shirt and blue jeans.

Police say Jones is considered a high-risk to reoffend. If you see him or know of his location, you are asked to call 9-1-1 immediately and not to approach him.

This is the fourth high-risk sex offender to fail to return to a halfway house in recent days. Warnings for 46-year-old men Gerald McLean and Richard Thomas Galt were issued by police over the past week.
