Sunny weather returns today in Vancouver and will continue until at least next Sunday, although localized areas could see the odd thunderstorm pass through as a result of the conditions caused by rising warm air. Temperatures will reach 24°C on Canada Day and a peak of 25°C by Wednesday.
Elsewhere on the South Coast during Canada Day, temperatures will reach highs of 31°C in Abbotsford and Squamish and a balmy 32°C in Whistler.
Happy Canada Day!
