Tickets for North Vancouver's Dinner on the Pier are selling out fast

Vancouver’s most charming outdoor event is returning for its fourth summer in a row on Thursday, August 9.

Dinner on the Pier is a beautifully quaint experience where you can enjoy a four-course meal followed by a majestic sunset. The night is driven and inspired to celebrate the local business community and it’s brought to you by #LowerLonsdale’s best of the best.

Let’s #tbt (even if it’s not a Thursday) and tell you a bit about it.

Dinner on the Pier started as an idea by two local residents who were determined to bring a new kind of celebration to their hometown. In 2015, the energy of North Vancouver had a buzz about it, predicting what it has now grown to be. Four summers later, Alex Troll and Adriana Koc-Spadaro are still at it, collaborating with locals who are determined to celebrate the kind culture of the Shore.

This summer, Dinner on the Pier has partnered with Tap and Barrel who will be providing a curated drink selection from local wineries and breweries. For you, the night will kick off as you settle in, grab a drink, and snap some Insta-worthy photos at the photo booth sponsored by Botto Real Estate in the historical Pipe Shop Venue.

You can expect the vibe to be set with live music from local talent provided by Musos Entertainment before the party migrates to the Lower Lonsdale pier for a unique dining experience at sunset. Tickets to the event cost $158 general admission or $168 VIP and you can get yours via Eventbrite before they’re gone!

Surrounded by the picturesque beauty of the North Vancouver harbour, and seated at an enormous table at the end of the pier, you’ll get to enjoy a special feast inspired by BC’s ocean, created by Chef Joel Green from The Pinnacle at the Pier Hotel. This year the magic will be extra special thanks to Denise Elliot and Quay Properties who have teamed up to sponsor 12 special guests to celebrate a newly-wed couple.

Along with fostering culture and positive conversation about the exciting Lower Lonsdale community, Dinner on the Pier is also supporting a charity based in Vancouver called Growing Chefs, that teach healthy, sustainable food practices in elementary schools.

If you want to be part of a night that connects you to your neighbours and new friends, make sure to get your tickets to Dinner on the Pier before they sell out. By doing so, you’ll be supporting a culture that embraces the history and growth of where you live.

See you on the pier!
