The Nutcracker
- What: A holiday tradition for many, The Nutcracker delights all ages with its beautiful sets and extravagant costumes that illuminate the magic of the toy soldiers, Sugar Plum Fairy, and a growing Christmas tree. Talented and enthusiastic young dancers perform to Tchaikovsky’s classic score with its favourites such as Waltz of the Flowers and Dance of the Mirlitons.

Winterfest 2017
- What: Winterfest 2017 features Bear Creek Park’s Christmas Train, with a Santa Express ride during the day and Christmas Night Train in the evening. Enjoy hot chocolate, music, crafts, treats and more.
- When: December 8, 2017 to January 7, 2018. Closed December 25 and January 1.

Christmas at The Loafing Shed
- What: Enjoy complimentary seasonal beverages and warm up in the studio while you enjoy the glass gallery, see glass blowing demos, and shop a special display of small gift items by local artists and artisans.

Rogers Hometown Hockey
- What: The weekend will feature broadcast hosts Ron MacLean and Tara Slone, meet-and-greet opportunities with NHL alumni Kirk McLean and Dave Babych, live local entertainment and engaging activities for the whole family.

Jacob Marley’s Christmas Carol
- What: The real story behind Dickens’ A Christmas Carol—the story of Jacob Marley’s heroic behind-the-scenes efforts to save old Scrooge’s soul—and in the process, save his own. Aided by a Bogle, a malicious little hell-sprite with an agenda of his own, their hilarious journey takes them from the Jaws of Death to the Mouth of Hell—and beyond

Holiday Art Jam
- What: Get into the holiday spirit by hanging out and getting creative. Help make a gingerbread house, block print your own wrapping paper, or explore other holiday-themed arts and crafts. No previous art skills required. This is a free event open to youth and young adults.

Ellie King’s Sinbad, The Pirate and The Dinosaur
- What: Join Sinbad and his wacky crew in a rollicking and hilarious adventure on the high seas. Come sing along with toe-tapping music, groan at corny old jokes, cheer the good guys and boo the bad in this hilariously funny show. Then say farewell to BC’s favourite Dame, Alan Cedargreen, when he wields his wooden spoon for one last time.

The Electric Express
- What: See the characters, listen to the Christmas music, travel the Electric Express back in time to 1917, and visit the special workshop of Father Christmas.

Grandma & Me Christmas Tea
- What: Enjoy making Christmas crafts, decorating cookies and warming up with a cup of coffee, tea or hot chocolate. You also won’t want to miss the special story time and magic show presented by Surrey Libraries. Geared towards ages 3-7, and grandpas are welcome too.

Winter Ice Palace
- What: The 20th Annual Winter Ice Palace is a winter wonderland at Cloverdale Arena. Find a time to skate across the old fashion pond from December 22 to January 7, including on Christmas Day and New Years Day.
