Camilo the Magician presents: Misterio

  • What: Watch Camilo’s outstanding and original magic illusions, along with his unique sense of humour and sleek sleight of hand.

McArthurGlen Vancouver Airport Outlet Mall Job Fair

  • What: A two-day job fair this weekend to fill 600 retail positions in time for the opening of Vancouver Airport Outlet Mall this spring.
  • Where: River Rock Casino Resort – 8811 River Road, Richmond, in the second floor Whistler Ballroom
  • When: Friday, April 10; 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. & Saturday, April 11; 9 a.m. to 1 p.m

Vancouver Vaisakhi Parade

  • What:  A parade marks both the New Year and the anniversary of one of Sikhism’s most important events, the establishment of Khalsa in 1699.
  • Where: The parade starts at Ross Street Temple – 8000 Ross St at 64th
  • When: Saturday, April 11; 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Tulips of the Valley Festival 2015

  • What: Fields of multi-coloured tulips are in full bloom on the easternmost edge of the Lower Mainland, about two hours away from the city of Vancouver.
  • Where: 3971 Lougheed Highway, Agassiz
  • When: Friday, April 10; 12 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.; Saturday, April 11; 9 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.; Sunday, April 12; 9 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Bike the Blossoms

  • What: A fun, free, guided bike tour of the blossoming cherry trees in Vancouver.

World Ski and Snowboard Festival

  • What: The Whistler World Ski and Snowboard Festival returns with high-energy mountain culture, art, music and fashion plus spring skiing and snowboarding.
  • Where: Whistler, B.C.

Winter Farmers Market

  • What: Locally grown vegetables and fruit; meat, and seafood from local ranchers and fishermen, artisan cheese and bread, herbs and seasonal nursery items, baked goods, prepared foods and artisanal crafts.

  • When: Every Saturday; 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Sakura Days Japan Fair

  • What: Experience Japan through food, music, art and cultural exhibits at this family-friendly event!
  • Where: VanDusen Botanical Gardens – 5251 Oak Street, Vancouver
  • When: Saturday, April 11 & Sunday, April 12; 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Hastings Park Farmers Market
