Green Sock Half and Shamrock’n Race

• What: The 21.1 km course circles Burnaby Lake, giving you the opportunity to enjoy fresh air, exercise and chances to view birds and animals in this wilderness environment. St. Patrick’s Day themed race so feel free to dress up. Includes medals and draw prizes.

Tanya Tagaq at Vancouver Opera Festival

• What: Nunavut-born Tanya Tagaq came to international attention when she appeared on superstar Björk’s 2004 Medulla album and tour. The Darkest of the Hillside Thickets Unplugged
