Vaisakhi Day Parade

  • What: Everyone is welcome at the annual Vaisakhi Day Parade, featuring cultural floats, community performers and live music. To pay tribute to the harvest celebration roots of the parade, attendees are given free food and drink from hundreds of local residents and businesses.

Earth Day Vancouver 2017

  • What: Earth Day at Everett Crowley Park offers a wide range of free family-oriented fun including professional performers, music, dancing, cultural and ecological exhibits, and children’s activities. Help plant 1,000 native mushrooms to help grow forest roots.

March for Science Vancouver

  • What: Put on your lab coats and get ready to take to the streets. The March for Science Vancouver celebrates the important role science plays in our lives. It is part of a global movement happening in 30 countries around the world.

16th Annual Rotary Wine Festival

  • What: Burnaby’s premiere wine event. Enjoy an evening of wine tastings, culinary delights and fine music. Funds raised will support Rotary literacy programs, Rotary Fitness circuit, Down Syndrome Research Foundation, Rotary International Polio Plus Program and other Burnaby charities

NA LCS Spring Finals

BrickCan 2017 at the River Rock

Hullabaloo Team Finals featuring Jeremy Loveday

  • What: The Verses festival started out with 16 teams vying for the Billy Sharkespeare Trophy and provincial bragging rights as the team poetry slam champions of 2017. The final four compete on Saturday night to be the first champions of this year’s Verses Festival of Words.

Record Store Day in Vancouver
