Snoop Dogg

  • What: Get ready to drop it like it’s hot because Snoop Dogg is heading out on his Wellness Retreat Tour and he’ll be joined by Cypress Hill, Method Man & Redman. Last time Uncle Snoop visited Vancouver was in April 2016, where he performed a two-hour DJ set at Chinatown’s Fortune Soundclub. Unsurprisingly, he – and everyone else there – got pretty high.

Whitecaps FC vs. Seattle Sounders FC

  • What: It’s a Cascadia clash when Seattle comes to town for MLS action against Vancouver.
  • Where: BC Place – 777 Pacific Blvd, Vancouver

Easter at the Cannery

  • What: The Easter Salmon makes its annual return this year to hide eggs for the little ones to find throughout the historic cannery. At 10:30 am, The Great Salmon “Egg” Hunt will start and repeat every 30 minutes throughout the day with the last egg hunt at 4:30 pm. There will also be Easter crafts, games and an interactive story-time suitable for kids ages 2 to 12 years old.

Prozzäk: Forever 1999 Tour

  • What: Animated group Prozzäk are ready to blow the roof off of 2017 with their upcoming Canadian “Forever 1999” tour.

Blue Lodge Society

  • What: A unique interactive theatrical event with burlesque and live music. Become a part of the Blue Lodge Society and experience what mysteries unfold.

Spring Lights

Vancouver Cherry Blossom Festival

  • What: After a long winter, experience illuminations, performance, and community; all under a canopy of cherry blossoms. This is a time to appreciate the ephemerality and beauty of nature. Featuring dance performances choreographed by Heather Laura Gray, and a musical soundscape by Adham Shaikh. Event is weather dependant.
  • Where: Queen Elizabeth Park – 4600 Cambie Street, Vancouver
  • When: April 14 at 8 (dusk) to 10 pm
  • Cost: Free

7th Annual Burke Mountain Community Easter Egg Hunt

  • What: A fun day of chocolate hunting at Galloway Park. Featuring live music, food trucks, firefighters and a special appearance by the Easter Bunny. It also raises awareness and funds for local women’s shelter, Tri-City Transitions.
  • Where: Galloway Park – 3404 Galloway Ave, Coquitlam
  • When: April 14 from 10 am to 1 pm
  • Cost: Minimum $5 donation per family, all proceeds go to Tri-City Transitions.
