18 things to do in Vancouver this week

Kitsilano Showboat

What: The iconic Kitsilano Showboat is in its 80th season this year with four performance nights each week showcasing dance and costumes from around the world in front of the North Shore mountain’s scenic backdrop.

Free Waterfront Zumba at Canada Place

What: Get fit and have fun at this outdoor, Latin-inspired, easy-to-follow dance party. No dance experience or partner required for this fun fitness class. Guaranteed to have you smiling!

UBC Farm markets

What: The Centre for Sustainable Food Systems operates the UBC Farm, and three weekly farm markets (June through October) on campus, providing students, faculty, and staff the chance to engage with the community and support local farming.

Evo Summer Cinema Series: Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade

What: Watch Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade outside! The site will be outfitted with a four-storey inflatable movie screen, transforming the area into a magical outdoor cinema within a matter of hours, fit for thousands of Vancouverites to visit and watch flicks throughout the summer.

Ladies Against Humanity

Science World Ultimate Dinosaurs Exhibit

Yaletown Farmers’ Market

Richmond Night Market

What: Drawing crowds from all over Metro Vancouver, the Richmond Night Market is located within easy access of the Canada Line’s Bridgeport Station. Roam the aisles to find games, food, and all sorts of wares for sale. Late nighters take note, this is the only local night market open until midnight (Fridays and Saturdays).

Ballroom dancing lessons at Robson Square

What: DanceSportBC’s Robson Square sub-committee will be hosting 10 nights of free dancing, lessons and performances beginning in June.
