Fall for Ballet

  • What: Coastal City Ballet presents its 5th Anniversary season with “Fall for Ballet”, an evening of classical excerpts and world premieres. In addition to excerpts from the classic tutu ballet “Paquita”, three original creations by renowned choreographers Wen Wei Wang and Joshua Beamish, as well as Coastal City Ballet’s Artistic Director Li Yaming, will be performed.

2016 PuSh Festival Launch Party

  • What: Monday, November 9th the PuSh International Performing Arts Festival will announce its 2016 Festival programming with a launch party at The Fox Cabaret. The 12th annual PuSh Festival takes place January 19 to February 7, 2016 in venues across Vancouver. Artistic and Executive Director Norman Armour will unveil the full 2016 PuSh Festival programming and artist lineup.

Lief Hall Lecture-Peformance

  • What: Lief Hall’s lecture performance will interweave storytelling, video collage, live performance and the artists own musical compositions to explore how mythology, science fiction and virtual embodiment affect the creation of gender identity within popular culture.

Diwali on the Drive

  • What: n partnership with one of the leading presenters of Theatre in the City of Vancouver, The Cultch, Diwali Fest will incorporate South Asian-themed Theatre for a two-week run at The York Theatre as well as a dance presentation for a weekend at The Historic Theatre at The Cultch.

Eight and a Half Inches of Comedy
