Surrey Urban Farmers’ Market

  • What: Located just steps away from the Surrey Central SkyTrain station and bus loop Surrey Urban Farmers’ Market is a vibrant gathering place that aims to promote small-scale farmers, food producers, and artisans.
  • Where: North Surrey Rec Centre – 10275 City Parkway, Surrey
  • When: Wednesdays from 2 to 6 pm until October 4

9th Annual Philippine Independence Day Celebration

  • What: Featuring Santacruzan, a traditional parade of queens and princesses under colourful floral arches; there will also be a live band, local artists, booth exhibit, and food concession.
  • Where: Bridgeview Park Community Centre – 11475 – 126A Street, Surrey
  • When: June 10 from 10 am to 4 pm

Darts Hill Garden Park Garden Stroll

  • What: Celebrate spring with a garden stroll through a spectacular display of blooms. Darts Hill Garden Park features towering rhododendrons, a showcase of magnolias and an impressive collection of rare and unusual trees.

  • When: June 10 and 11, 17 and 18, and 24 and 25 from 11 am to 3 pm

Bhangra: WE

  • What: Join a panel of artists, musicians, and writers of all genders, as they discuss and explore the complexity of their identities as young South Asian change makers. This follows the success of last year’s panel Bhangra: SHE. Part of City of Bhangra Festival.

Surrey Doors Open

  • What: Surrey Doors Open is a free event for all ages providing a unique opportunity for Surrey residents and visitors to experience the cities rich culture, history, art and architecture. This year 21 venues across City Centre, Cloverdale, Newton and South Surrey are being showcased. The venues will feature a mix of historic sites, modern architecture, public art and green spaces.

Nothing But Games Surrey 2017

  • What: Whether you’re a video-gamer or a boardgame enthusiast, the event will be a mecca for gamers with 32-hours of non-stop action alongside topical workshops, panel discussions, and even a spot of LARPing.
  • Where: Sheraton Hotel Guildford – 5269 104 Ave, Surrey
  • When: June 17 to 18, 10 am to 6 pm

Father’s Day at Historic Stewart Farm

  • What: Take Dad out for a memorable date at Historic Stewart Farm. Bring the whole family for locomotive fun, featuring the Greater Vancouver Garden Railway Club and their display model trains, train rides courtesy of the Pacific Trackless Trains, sack races with Dad on the lawn, baked treats made on the wood burning stove in the farmhouse kitchen and more.

Mad Hatter’s Strawberry Tea and Tour

  • What: Indulge your taste buds while enjoying contemporary art with friends. Surrey Art Gallery Association invites you to be their guest at their annual Mad Hatter’s Strawberry Tea and Tour. Celebrate summer with a fun hat (preferably designed by you) while you tour different art exhibits and then enjoy luscious local strawberries.

Park Play Palooza

  • What: Since 2006, Park Play Palooza is the annual kick-off event for Surrey’s free Park Play drop-in summer program for kids. Climb an outdoor rock wall, go for a hole-in-one at mini-golf, dance to live music, meet the summer Park Play staff and more.

Cloverdale Market Days

  • What: Located in Historic Downtown Cloverdale, Cloverdale Market Days is a large exciting market with vendors coming from all over Cloverdale and the surrounding communities. New to The Market Days events in 2017 will be displays from the Arts Council Of Surrey, more family activities, and closing of the roads on 176th street from 56A to 58 Ave to accommodate more vendors, activities, and food trucks.
